Nectar & Noises follows Bryan's series of accidentals. Swallowing a butterfly as a boy, Bryan develops an anxiety that affects him to this day. He begins to feel the sensation of butterflies in his stomach every time he feels nervous or anxious. When Bryan develops an erratic romance for one of his colleagues, Emily, he contemplates undergoing a risky and complicated procedure to remove the butterflies in his stomach.
