Gone Home revolves around the life of a weary night-shift cab driver who is unwillingly obliged to send off ghosts to say their final goodbyes, due to his own transgressions. Ironically, even as Eric helps his passengers find peace in their final departures, he himself is a tortured man who wallows in the guilt of his son's death, causing him to shut off from his relationships, especially with his wife, Irene. As the night progresses on one particularly bleak shift, he meets several passengers who convince him to return home and mend his relationship with Irene.
